No CrossFit this evening – I worked today at the Museum and my hub, Sean, worked until 6:30 at Ingles so we’re too late to get in a workout today. I was so sore from yesterday’s workout by the time I got home, I was starting to stiffen up so I raked leaves for about half an hour before coming in and settling down. While at work, I replenished some of our displays so there was a lot of walking and some lifting which is a good thing to do the day after an intense workout like yesterday’s. Also, yesterday I made a stew in our Insta-pot with stew beef, carrots & fingerling potatoes. That’s what I had for lunch – really good & nutricious. I also am cooking food for our miniature Schnauzer, Joe. He has skin issues that are partly caused by eating processed dog food so I’m making him chicken with greenbeans & oatmeal. His evening snack is 2 tablespoons of cottage cheese with 10 blueberries. I hope that this diet will clear his skin up in a few days. He’s such a sweet dog. Tonight, my hub & I are on the 5th episode of HBO’s True Detective starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson – definitely not for the faint of heart. I’ll be glad when we finish it. I need something sweet & light after seeing this series. Excellent acting and a compelling storyline but brutal. Until tomorrow…
